You need to create vendor accounts by using Microsoft Dynamics AX. Which field is mandatory for creating a vendor account?

Mode of delivery

Group

Credit limit

Terms of payment

it may vary from system to system depending upon application number and whether system is customized or not.

a very simplified way can be opening VendTable in AOT and press Ctrl+N, now press Ctrl+S and it can show you list of mandatory fields. There could be fields pre-initialized on record creation, you can take note of such fields manually.

Another way is to using x++ script to list mandatory fields.

Also you can use excel add-in for sample record creation and it will show you mandatory fields in red color on left hand menu.

do any of these choices, holds you for attempting ?

How you are going to create a vendor? Below fields are mandatory to create and a vendor and rest you can update later -

1. AccountNum

2. Name

3.Currency

4.VendGroup

No sure what kind of proof you are looking here?.

You can check all DataSources used in VendTable form and run job suggested by Chaitanya..

Note wriggly red line those are the mandatory fields.

You generally can't save a record without completing those.

However each company require additional fields to be set to mandatory and then you need to follow the advice in the posts above.
