how to adjust the height of the string field in morphx report

currently working on the morphx report, i am displaying the one string field in the report using the display method.

This string field size is 250 Charcter.

If suppose the user enter the 250 charcter the height of the report is change automatically and they are enter the 100 charcter the height of the page is decrese automatically.

i am tried this change the property dynamic height,but it is not working.

    you can set fixed height for that field.

    Height of the string not only depends on it's individual property but also on the design body(Parent heirarchy) properties.

    in this I am take the Seperate Programable Sction to display the description of the item.

    "Log Book A4 Size 50 Pages"

    It is the Size of 250 Characters, some they give 250 some times they give 50,100, 150....

    in that i want to change the height of the programmable section automatically based on the size of the String Size.

    everything will be changed based on the String size.

    How to Do this.

    set the autodeclaration "yes" in property.

    Override the fetch method and check the length(check your logic).

    control height can set in fetch method(control.height).

    how i am write the logic based on the purchline string field.

    ProgrammableSection_3.heightMode == PurchLine.

    I couldn't see the screen shot.

    It's not easy to predict what's there in your AX environment , not worth of dicscussion by assuming.

    If you would like to be helped then share more details.

    It is simple one customized field is there in the purchline table, users are enter data manually in that field.

    suppose users enter the few characters the height of the programmable section decreases if they enter full 250 characters the height of the programmable section increases automatically.

    i am take this string field in seperate programmable section and take some vertical lines in the pogramable section if the size of the string field decreases these lines also decreases.

    how to do this.?
