Deactivating a Work Order and Children Records

Hello!

We have a requirement to not only deactivate the Work Order but also the Bookings, Labor and Products. I am able to do this using a Flow, but when I deactivate the Bookings it is causing resets to not only the status on Work Order but also some of the Totals for Labor. Is the intention for all of these items to stay active even if the work is complete? Has anyone implemented a scenario in which these all get closed out or is it just general practice to deactivate the Work Order and leave the children records active?

Please consider deactivating the WO only and not changing the children.

    • An inactive booking, for example, is treated as if it doesn't exist from a work order perspective, which then resets the work order status to "Unscheduled" if that was the only booking on the work order.
    • For work order products and work order services, you would see similar impacts to the estimated and total amounts of the work order.
