    Hi Hanny,

I do think this is an insane requirement. What happens if you printed the invoice and the paper in the printer got stuck? Then you need to print again.

Probably you can better ask for a confirmation if the report was already printed before. There is a counter field on e.g. the sales invoice header (PrintedOriginals). Then before showing or printing the invoice you can add a dialog box with a message that is has been printed before and question if the user really needs to print the invoice.

    Hi Andre,

i think your idea is right. It must be confirm after report already printed. I make my own report (invoice and packing slip) with new design and not using a standart report. My report just using controller and data provider. But i confuse how to start it. I have an idea about add a field in my table to sign the report already printed but i dont know which part of my class that i must put the coding to update the record after print. Is there any sign in dynamics that show report already printed?

Sorry for my ask cos i'm a new in dynamics ax..

    Regards,

    Hanny

    Hi Hanny,

You can still use the existing field (PrintedOriginals) which can be updated within your report controller. As I don't know any details about your customization related to the new report(s) I cannot suggest anything where to put what coding.

    kind regards,

    André

Hello Andre, how do you do that? update "PrintedOriginals" from within you report controller. I need to add a 1 to this field if the report is printed and then if one is there then user cannot do a reprint. Please help on this. thank much
