Dual Write GAB Party Model

Hello,

i am so desperate finding information about how exactly dual write works in combination with the Global Address Book and Party Model. Is there any chance to look behind the scenes in a functional system?

How exactly is the 1:n relationship between account and contact broken up? And is the Field "Company Name" still used for contacts or not. Description of "unstriped records" in Dataverse is not exact because  of the different interpretations of "Company"

After studying the Dual Write mappings and relationship ER Diagramms I can't find any direct relation from customer to account, which seems problematic for me in further steps (Work Orders, Proposals and so on).

I can't find any useful and exact information about whats going on there.

Somebody out there to give me a hint?

Regards

Chris

P.S: I want to connect D365 CS/FS (cloud) to F&O (onprem) in the best possible manner

I have the same question (0)
