Creating Word Doc Template - 'NEW' button throws error

Hi every one,

I have just setup a new environment for 'Sales', created new solution and created couple of leads as well. I wanted to create word doc template for one of my client's requirement. On the create new template form when I clicked 'NEW' button it throws following error. Some system default templates are already there but of not my use. Can any body guide why this is so. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    It seems that there is something wrong with the buttons in your environment.

    As it is a new one, I believe that you haven't customized the buttons with Ribbon Workbench.

    Here is my UI and buttons.

    Please try to reset your environment if there is not too much data & customization.

    If the issue persists after resetting, it is recommended to raise a support ticket to MS for further help.

    Yes, I haven't customized the 'NEW' button. But your UI looks different than my one. In your case there is a drop down menu attached to the 'NEW' button which is not available with me.

    Hi,

    Yes, it is different from mine so I suggested to reset your environment as for the time being there is no significant amount of data that you have imported into this environment.

    And since I cannot reproduce your issue, if the reset cannot solve your issue, it is recommended to raise a support ticket.

    Yours appears to be in a pop-out window, not an application. Go into an app, then go to Advanced Settings>Templates>Document Templates.

    Also, try starting from a form on the entity that you want to create the template for.

    (click "download template" to create a new xml file pastedimage1638208147388v3.png

    or click "upload template" to create an existing template.) 

    If you're in SalesPro, you can use the Sales Settings section as well:
