Im looking at installing the analysis cubes that come with GP, as ive used SSAS a bit in the past and I'm very fluent with sql. Befor eI go down this path, I am trying to get an idea of what I'm in store for. If the situation involves multiple corporate gp databases (because of internal company organization etc) , will the analsys cubes take this into account or will there need to be one set of cubes PER company database?
If you have multiple companies in GP, you'll be able to select them when configuring AC. Then in SSIS | DynamicsGPWarehouse, you'll have a master package for each company. There will be a DynamicsGP_COMPANYNAME_to_DynamicsGPWarehouse_Package_Master, for each company. There will also be a AA_Budget_Budgets_Master and GL_Budgets_Master for each company.
