Hi,

I was doing export import on Vendor Groups Data Entity. I have not customized anything on the staging table and target table. When I saw mapping it is showing 6 fields in staging as below screenshot and 5 fields in target. Initially both were having 6 fields. I am not able to add 6th field. I have tried to delete entire and synchronize still 6th field is not displaying. I have tried to regenerate it is taking 5 fields only. It is present at back end. 3107.mapping.png

Try checking if the License configuration related to the field is enabled.

    Hi Vilmos,

Can you please tell how to check same? I have not customized anything in second instance it is showing. And it was there too for my instance i don't know i deleted something or what.

Can you clarify what do you mean by second instance? Is it the same AX AOS cluster, pointing to the same database, but only one of them is not working? Or you are talking about different AX environments. In the latter case it could be down to customization, or license configuration.

You can find the License configuration property on the tables' field, or on the Extended Data Type / Base Enum behind the field in the Application Object Tree. Then you could validate if the specific configuration is enabled in System administration > Setup > License configuration.

I cannot remember if on the Target fields form in the Entity's setup it is view only, or if you could add/remove fields, but that might also be worth a try to check if you might have accidentally just removed the field from the list.

    Hi,

It is different instance only. For my field configuration key is LedgerAdvCashflowForecast. I am not able to find with same name or keywords in Setup License Configuration. But it seems that case only.

So as per my understanding once you try to modify and that is not enable in your license key then you can revert it. It should not allow to modify itself if it is not included.

    Regards,

    Smit

That is the one which I found in AX 2012, so probably it is the same in AX 7 as well. The label for that configuration is "Cash flow forecast", and there it belongs to "General ledger - advanced" top tier configuration.

A license would not modify itself, it is a privileged user who could only modify, and then synchronize it. Fields with disabled configuration keys are not visible/accessible.

    Hi Smit,

This field is related to Polish functionality. This field is not visible in companies other than legal entities with a primary address in Poland. Probably if you re-generate the mapping from a Polish company it will be added again. If you are not importing data for a Polish company, you don't need this field.

    Hi Andre/Vilmos,

Thanks for your replies. I have temporarily managed to get the field by removing configuration key from Table level. But I think it should not be best practice for just populating field at front end.

Andre as you said it is for Poland only so it is possibility it is not coming in USMF. I have left same with 5 fields only on both sides. Thanks for quick response on issue. :)

    Regards,
