I recently added the Knowledge Search widget to our Accounts and Contacts main forms. Everything seems to work as expected on Accounts, but on the Contacts main form, the Selected Article Action Icon for email appears to point to the Link process. I've changed every optional setting in the Knowledge Search setup, but the issue remains. If this is not a MS bug, it is really missing a good chance to be one

Can you share some screenshots related to it?
I have added knowledge search control to account and contact, but I didn't find any difference.
It works as expected in Accounts, but in a Contact Record, Knowledge Search result, clicking here does not email the article ...
It merely links the article to the contact as shown below, and toggles the Link button to Un-Link
