Adding costs to item on PO and SO

Hello,

 Is there a standard functionality in Dynamics AX to add costs to item other than the item price. I mean charges like freight, customs etc...

 I understand that there is "Miscellaneous Charges " functionality in DAX 2009, but what I need is to add the these charges to Item price not just to the Invoice.

 eg - final item price = item + freight+customs +......

     Hello Arjun,

     

    Well to add Misc. Charges to item go to the setup of Misc. Charges 

     Acc. Rec / Acc. Pay -->Setup--> Misc. charges--> Misc. charges codes 

    1) Case of Purchase 

    now here click on the posting tab and in debit select item from drop down and in credit side select the ledger account to which u want these charges to be recorded or the vendor/customer from which u have purchase this item. remember customer/vendor option is selected when the vendor for facilities like freight etc is the same from which we have purchased the item otherwise we select ledger acct. in credit portion however debit will be the item.

    2)  Case of Sale

     In case of sales the process will be like this that from receivable module in the Misc. Charges we book these expenses to a certain ledger acct. and credit the customer / vendor to whom we are selling the items so the setup will be Ledger acct. on debit side and select the appropriate debit acct. and customer/vendor on credit side.

    I have same query. I want to debit MISc charges of SO into Item instead of Ledger account
