Set Abstract Mode in table extension to No

Hi All,

Anyone know how to change Yes in Abstract from the EcoResProduct table ? . Because I want to insert a record into the table, then an error appears 'Insert operation database is not allowed on an abstract table'. At AX 2012, I just changed Abstract into a No and successful entry record.

    You can't change this with extensions.

    What is your business requirement? Why can't you insert in EcoResDistinctProduct or EcoResProductMaster?

    If I insert it into EcoResDistinctProduct, will the record automatically enter to the EcoResProduct table?

    Basically yes. In D365FO perspective EcoResProduct is not a table, it's only an abstract definition of a base table, that the two other tables are extending.

    But in the database you will see only EcoResProduct, since this whole table hierarchy is purely inside D365FO (docs.microsoft.com/.../table-inheritance-overview).

    Please test and let us know if you have some problems.
