Move pallet to another site

Hello everybody,

it would be awesome if anybody could tell me how (with which function) to move a pallet to another site with THE SAME PALLET ID ! I can`t do it with the function "move pallet", and if i try it with the function "transfer" or "transfer order", i have to create a new pallet ID at the "to site". But i want to keep the same pallet id !

I would think you would have to count it out from site and count it in on the other site. Site is part of the storage dimension, even if the pallet id is the same.

You can use an arrival journal to register the pallet as a transfer order receipt

Hello Tim, i`ve tried to register the pallet with a arrival journal (for a transfer order), but in every case - i can`t keep the same pallet id ?! I have to create a new pallet ID for the arrival at the new site :(

Hello Tommy, what do you mean with "count in" and "count out" ? Which functionality ? (sorry for my english)

In AX2012 R2 CU7 you can use the "Create input transport" function in order to be able to move Pallets between sites.

Function is available if pallet is located in a Inbound dock location

However, there is a bug - no voucher is posted in the ledger as you have for regular transfers, without Pallet ID ( by transfer journal or Transfer order).
