    One option is using Open in Microsoft Office (in the top right corner).
     
    Another one is exporting the data through Workspaces > Data management.
     
    If you need something more complex, you can create a report.

    To export a product list to CSV or Excel in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, you can follow these steps:

    âś… Steps to Export Product List:

    1. Navigate to the Product List Page

      • Go to Product information management > Products > Released products (or the relevant product list page you're working with).

    2. Use the Office Export Option

      • In the top menu, click on Office > Export to Excel or Open in Excel.
      • Choose the appropriate template (e.g., "Released products") if prompted.

    3. Download or Edit in Excel

      • You can either download the file as a static export (CSV/Excel) or open it in Excel Online to make live edits if you're using the Excel Add-in.

    4. Save as CSV (Optional)

      • If you need a CSV format, simply open the Excel file and use File > Save As > CSV.

    💡 Tip: You can customize the columns shown in the grid before exporting to ensure only the relevant fields are included.

    External item numbers can be setup in 4 different ways.
    1) external item number for vendor
    2) external item number for customer
    3) external item number for vendor group
    4) external item number for customer group
     
    If items/products are exported, there is one record per item/released-product.
     
    One/single item can have N(any) number of external item numbers
     
    If you are asking for export of items with external item description, you need to know which of the 4 you want, and based on that you can use any of these 6 data entities.
     
    • External item description customer groups
    • External item description vendor groups
    • External item descriptions for customers
    • External item descriptions for customers V2
    • External item descriptions for vendors
    • External item descriptions for vendors V2
     you can also use the form named External item descriptions, where you can use the two entities (V2) from the menu option, or simply export to excel option. But if it is bulky number of records, you can decide whether to export those in batch or not.
