error when doing extension for form

Hi,

I have a form that has multiple extensions from different models.

When i created a new model (Model X) and created an extension of that form without doing anything extra other than creating the extesniosn, i get these two errors:

A control modification's name must be a control in the base form

for form extension control 'FormExtensionControlvkcmvd6' it's previous sibling 'TabPageABC' was not found as child control of 'design'

this TabPageABC exists in one of the other model extensions (model Y)

Hi,

You must add reference of model Y to model X.

The reference is already there.

Hi,

Can you explain what steps you took to create the new model (X) and what changes you have as form extension? Or did you only create a new extension without any modifications yet?

Note that the layers are irrelevant. You surely can have an extension in a different layer than the original element. For example, we all commonly extend objects from SYS layer and our models are in layers like VAR, CUS or USR.
