Already posted the multiple transactions.How to close the old posting profile and assign a new posting profile in ax 2012 R3..

    Hello OJ,

    You basically just need to setup the new posting profile ABC in the vendor parameter form as the default posting profile to ensure that it is used (defaults) when you create Purchase Order, Vendor Invoices, etc.)

    Yet, as I mentioned above, such a change can cause reconciliation issues if different ledger accounts are used in the new ABC posting profile.

    Before doing that test this carefully and ensure that your accountants are aware of that.

    Hi OJ Reddy,

    Would like to know what are the changes you are adopting in new vendor posting profile ABC as compared to XYZ?

    If you are changing vendor summary account in new profile ABC, then it may create problem during settlement for any documents which are not yet settled in system. Adding any new account for any newly created vendor group is not an issue.

    Vendor posting profile how to change in ax 2012.

    Ex I have created 2 posting profiles.

    1.xyz profile

    2.Abc posting profile.

    XYZ posting profile used preciously and post the transaction.

    Now I can change to ABC posting profile instead of XYZ.

    Hi OJ Reddy,

    Please let us know what posting profile you refer to.

    In general subsequent changes made to posting profiles are let's say 'tricky' because those changes can easily result in reconciliation issues with the general ledger.
