The error I get when I try to upload the customized portal with visual studio is

The entity with a name = 'adx_webfile' with namemapping = 'Logical' was not found in the MetadataCache

Someone a suggestion?

I found a possible solution for this issue.

On the Poweshell script provided by Microsoft to deploy the Event Portal customized files (DeployToDynamics365Instance.ps1), check this part of the code.

In my scenario, when the script is executed, the Authentication Wizard does not allow me to select which Organization I want to connect to. So I suspect it was connecting to an incorrect Organization where there is no Portal entities.

I changed these lines adding the following modifications:

After this change, the script successfully connected and updated the Event Portal files.

Did you ever find what was wrong with the Powershell script?

I'm currently trying to deploy some Event Portal customizations, and I'm getting the exact same error.
