Enabled or hide activate quote button depending on form values

Hi,

We need to disabled or hide the "activate quote" button depending on if some values of the form are completed or not.

We read something about Ribbon workbench and enable rules, but we haven't got clear how it works or how we can implement this.

Has anybody an example about it? Is possible to apply this enable rules in a standard button or is necessary to create a customized button?

Thank you in advance.

Create a solution, add Quote with metadata only and don't add any form, view or fields into it. Now in Ribbon workbench, open that solution, right click on 'Active Quote' and select customize command. Then create new enable rule and add value rule to check value of that particular field. Lastly, add that enable rule to the command. Publish your solution.
