Hello you would go into the COA (chart of accounts) and scroll to the end of the form...There is an account category field there, you must associate a project account category in order to use a project and task in the system. Account Categories are setup in the Project Controller module, in Account Category Maintenance. You can have only one GL account linked to an account category, but you can have several accounts that have the same account category...for instance Revenue account category can be linked to more than one GL account.
Once assigned when you use that account you will be prompted for a project and task. When a project and task is used then the transaction can be transferred to the Project Controller module.
