Requirement date for Planning optimization

Hi, 

does the planning optimization calculate the requirement date as TODAY'S + LEAD TIME in every case? 

In the example below, the purchase lead time is 2 days. 

I expected the planned order covering the sales order to have the requirement date = 05/29. 

So the planning optimization in every case always considers the requirement date as today + lead time?
