Hi All,
Can we export DB from Production without applying in UAT/SAT and apply it in DEV.
As per the standard process we need to refresh UAT/SAT then export the DB and import it in DEV, but we dont want to refresh UAT/SAT, we need to refresh DEV directly from Production.
Please provide your inputs.

Hi Akbar,
You will need to refresh your UAT environment from PROD and then export the database from the UAT environment for deploying into DEV. What we normally do when we have to update Dev environment only is to export the current UT environment DB and then start the refresh from PROD. After we have refreshed UAT and taken a backup of the new DB, we re-import the backup we exported before PROD refresh.

It means must refresh UAT first then only we can export the DB from UAT and apply in DEV.
