Issue of Date format in Timesheet in French AX 2012 R3

Hello DAX people,

We are using as date format DD-MMM-YYYY. We are facing an issue when the language is set to French. The start date is in english and end date in french or contrariwise as showed below :

I tried to download this hotfix: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2681589/the-format-change-in-the-region-and-language-dialog-box-does-not-affec

but I am getting hotfix not available. Any suggestions please? Did any one resolved this issue before?

I would appreciate any help and thnaks in advance.

Hi Nesrine,

Where is the form that you shared from?

Is it from the AX client, the enterprise portal or is this something that has been adjusted by your company?

For the latter case, have you already tried contacting a developer?

This is the standard form when creating a new timesheet in the Enterprise portal.

Many thanks for the feedback and confirmation.

What you describe seems to be a known bug.

I found a couple of them on LCS.

Please see:

fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../Results

Can you please double check which of those fixes applies to your system version that you operate and deploy it to a test/dev environment to verify that it resolves the issue.

Hi Nesrine,

That hotfix has been discontinued by Microsoft and suggesting to uprade to windows 10, below is the reference page opening when we click on it:

support.microsoft.com/.../this-hotfix-is-no-longer-available-24b7929a-eacd-c259-f6fa-d626aad3236a

Can you please try the LCS link shared by Ludwig and check if that fix your issue.

Hi Nesrine,

As mentioned this hotfix is not available anymore, but is was also not compatible with your AX 2012 R3 version. It was created for the first AX 2012 release. You can search on LCS issue search for known issues.
