Hello 

In project management and accounting we can create category groups from 4 differents transactions type. I am looking a document or an explanation of each transactions type why we should create a category group in transaction Fee instead of Item.

    Have you tried Google before asking? ;)

    In addition, if you have any fixed fee project you should create at least 1 special fee to be able to recognize the revenue. Aside of that, fees are used just to bill the customer at will an arbitrary amount of €€€.

    Hello Meggie,

    In addition to what Eugen already mentioned, fee related transactions only post revenue while item related transactions usually post costs and revenues. These are totally different transactions types and create different vouchers. Do you look for some specific scenario that you want to record for you project?

    Yes Google is my friend but the documentation for Finance and operation module is not really developed.
