Two different headers in single report

Hello community,

is there any way how to use two different headers on single SSRS report please? My situation is following. I have SSRS report with header, lines and additional overview lines. I would like to show header A when lines are printed and header B when overview lines are printed. I assume I could use a rectangle for each header and than set visibility on rectangles. But which expression/function should I use for header A/B determination please? Any hint appreciated.

Best regards

RV

if you are thinking about using expressions to hide controls based on conditions, it will result in wastage of space and you will get white space.

A possible solution can be putting everything under body. Keeping no headers for report. Now choose controls which you want to repeat on every page, set them repeat on each page = true. Finally set expressions to hide controls based on expressions.

AX-SSRS provides no way to save whitespace, in header and footer, in case controls are set visible false, by expressions.

    Hello Sohaib,

thank you for your response. Which expression do you recommend for checking that no more lines are printed and any overview line has been printed in order to hide "header" A and to show "header" B (i.e. placed in a body as you suggested)?

You can use your Dataset rows to know if there are any records. The SSRS expression to count rows is CountRows("DataSetName")

Finally you can use IIF condition to show/hide controls.
