Getting error : "Currency EUR not allowed for account HSBC".

User is trying to reverse a transaction in AX 2009. But the Transaction is in EUR currency and bank is in SGD currency.

User tried to do journal adjustment in EUR currency for "HSBC SGD 6" bank account (wich is in SGD CURRENCY), but system not allow to post the journal due to currency issue

Please help.

    Hi Anubha Gaur,

    I suspect that this is because of the currency setup that is made at the bank account level.

    Please check your HSBC SGD6 bank account setup.

    Before making a change to it and posting in foreign currency, ensure that this is what is required and test it in a demo version first.

    Thank you so much for quick reply.

    This is AX 2009. I checked KAA/Bank/Bank Area/Common Forms > Bank Account Details > Setup Tab > There the currency is SGD.

    So now how will the user reverse the transaction becasue the trsaction is in EUR.
