Hello,

the latest solution demo I found on the PartnerSource is CU9. Do you know if there is a CU13 somewhere, I would like to have a contoso demo virtual machine downloadable... ready to run a demo with an AX client also installed and configured.

New to the forum and PartnerSource, I hope the question is not obvious...

Furthermore, it seems that I have a problem to download the file from PartnerSource for ex. when I click on mbs2.microsoft.com/fileexchange I get an error message : "Our apologies...An unexpected error occurred. In order to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, please contact support and reference error ID: 2af19041-99d7-451d-95ec-a59f1fa42e12."

Looks like something is wrong with the File Transfer Manager that is not triggered (even after adding mbs and other microsoft site on the IE11 trusted zone as per a KB found on the site). Any idea how to download those files? Should be easy, but...

You have to download latest demo VM available and then install CU13. After that you need to go through data update checklist as well to update demo data. MS does not issue demo VM for each CU.

Regarding download error try to open it using private mode and if it won't help log a support request.

I have tried private mode, setting sites in trusted zone, disabling protected mode and several other things I found in the forum regarding an issue with downloading files (it use I believe the Microsoft File Transfer Manager but it does not get installed on my Win10 laptop even with IE11, Edge or Chrome attempts). I have logged a ticket under MBS web site problem but I am not even sure the ticket is created as after submission (received a popup saying the ticket is created) I cannot see it anywhere in the ticket history. Strange it is so difficult to download files (okay they are big but it is not a problem nowadays...)

Finally, for the download issue, it was a confusion between my organization account and my personal Live ID (both have the same email). To be able to download, you need a personal Live ID and I was trying with the Organization account :-(

I have downloaded and unrar the HyperV virtual server. I can login using default contoso/administrator with pass@word1 so it is great! Still have a problem with networking (but I think I saw a KB on the forum). I might convert it all to vmware as I am more used to it. I will see if i go forward the CU13 by installing it and update the data (i suppose i can find some KB on the forum). Thanks a lot for your help. Regards, FG
