We have upgraded from AX 2012 to AX 7. We have some existing RDP SSRS report in Ax 7 which we want to open or modify using Power BI . How do we achieve it..

Regards,

You can't just open a report built using one technology in something completely different.

Nevertheless you can create a PowerBI report based the same data as your SSRS report.

Note that AX 7 still uses SSRS reports.

Thanks Martin for your reply. But a quick question. There is a feasibility to create our own report using data entities in Power BI. Now as you know we use temporary tables in RDP reports . How do we use those tables as we are dynamically fetching data there by using processreport. Do we have a feasibility of adding temporary tables in Data Entity . How do we achieve it

It's possible - you can execute almost any logic in your data entities. Another question is whether it makes sense. If your report heavily depends on business logic inside AX and not on data entities, it's probably not a good candidate for Power BI.

    Hi ,

How to show customer again report in Power BI.

This report is generating using temporary table and x++ logic in AX.

How to call x++ logic from Power BI.
