Cannot create clickable checkbox on form

I'm trying to add a NoYes enum checkbox field to a form, but after adding it and setting AllowEdit to Yes and ViewEditMode to Edit, it still is grayed out when I open the form. I have no idea what's preventing it from being editable and need help.

Hi AXGreenHorn,

The field is part of a field group. What are the values of the properties set on the field group? This group might have AllowEdit or Enabled set to No.

They are all AllowEdit - Yes and Enabled - Yes.

Check box is bound to CustTableMergedFrom Data Source. If allowEdit set to no for the data source all fields bound to it are not editable. So you have to options here:

make it unbound or make data source editable.
