Default font size/type on emails in dynamics

Hi,

I am very new with dynamics, but I have been given the task of changing the default font size/type for the emails within our crm solution.

After having googled around it seems that the answer is that the default font is inherited from the browser of each individual user. However, the newest mention I could find of this was a few years old, so my question is then, is this still the case, or have things changed?

And if this remains the case, would it be possible to have a process flow run each time an email is created that changes the font? Again, I am very new and still doesn't quite grasp the limitations of dynamics, so sorry if this is a dumb question :)

I have the same question (4)

    Hi Partner,

    This is based on browser default language, if you change the browser default language for a specific user you will see the default font is changed for your email within CRM as well.

    Steps to change the Fonts in Chrome Browser

    1. Click the settings button at the top right.
    2. Click ‘Settings’ in the drop-down.
    3. Scroll down and click ‘Advanced’ to expand the available options.
    4. Click ‘Customize fonts’.
    5. Change the ‘Default font’ to a font of your choosing.

    Here is a screenshot of Language Settings in chrome browser

    Here is screenshot of default font which shows as "Comic Sans MS" once it is set in browser

    There is no other way to change the default language apart from  changing it from the browser.

    This solution did not work for me.  The default font was changed for various pages, but not for the email font within D365.  I defaulted browser font and size to Arial, 12 but the D365 email screen defaults to Sego UI, 9.  Any support would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jason,

    Did you have any joy with this?

    I came across a solution which detailed the steps to create a slight customisation for Email.

    Let me know if you need it.

    Cheers,

    Jayden.

    Hi Jayden

    This is a problem for us too.  If you could post a link to the solution you found that would be most helpful.

    Hi GS,

    I was able to work through it using info from the following site:

    Use the rich text editor control in Power Apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs

    In the end, it required manually making a web resource (we are on-premise in our environment so the screenshots will look as such)

    Once you have created the Web Resource, copy the URL for later

    pastedimage1653615330038v2.png

    (The code is:

    { "defaultSupportedProps": {

    			"font_defaultLabel": "Arial",

    			"fontSize_defaultLabel": "11",

    			"stickyStyle": {
    								"font-size": "11pt",
    								"font-family": "'Arial','Helvetica',sans-serif"
    							},

    			"stickyStyles_defaultTag": "div",

    			"toolbarLocation": "top",

    			"enterMode": 2,

    			"removePlugins": "contextmenu,liststyle,openlink,tableresize,tableselection,tabletools,autogrow",

    			"height": 400
    						}
    }
    )

    Once the web resource was created and published, you edit the Email or Enhanced Email Form (or both),

    Double-click on the Description field. go to the "Controls" tab:

    Enable the "Rich text editor" control, Edit the RichTextEditorControl_URL property, and paste the URL of the Web Resource from earlier:

    Save, Publish and Cross your Fingers at this point!

    Hope it goes well for you,

    Jayden.

    I appreciate this is a few years old but I was looking for a way to set default email font and size today.
    I was able to solve this using the following steps:
    1) Click on the ellipsis here

    2) Click on the gear icon

    3) Select your input and save
