Hello All,

I am trying to deploy new envoirenment as sandbox (on-prem). every is going fine until the Step 16. Configure Lifecycle Services connectivity for the deployment came.

in this step we have to configure Lifecycle Services connectivity for Finance + Operations (on-premises) deployments and there are two options:

1. New authentication process (Bring-your-own Microsoft Entra service principal)

2. Deprecated authentication process (ERP service principal)

2nd option is the old way and the 1st one is the latest option.

i am trying for the 1st option but unfortunately. i am stuck on (.\Set-LCSEntraApplication.ps1 -ConfigurationFilePath .\ConfigTemplate.xml -ApplicationDisplayName 'Display name of the application').

every i issue the above command it said .\Set-LCSEntraApplication.ps1 script is missing or go to the directory. i searched all the computer but i didnt find the script .\Set-LCSEntraApplication.ps1.

can anyone has done the deployement and help me out.

Hello,

That is because, you did not download the latest infrastructure script from LCS.

Get version 2.22.0, you should see the Set-LCSEntraApplication.ps1 file.

now i am stuck at new point while issueing the command: (now i going to select work or school account and click continue)
and then i got new error please review the 2nd picture.

Dear Armaan,

The error description 'Tenant not found' looks like the Microsoft login used to fill in the Entra details into the configtemplate.xml is either not correct or not the Global administrator for this tenant.

1. You should check to make sure you have the correct tenant ID / role with your administrator.

2. In addition, also try to use script version 2.22.1 (as mentioned in the previous post)... a XML formatting fix is applied to it.

- D65FO-OP-ConfigTemplateDefinition.psm1 to use the XDocument class to save config XML files to ensure proper formatting.

3. If you are downloading the new script version (2.22.1), cleanup and start your deployment from the beginning.

Hi Mandeep.

yes i am using latest script but the issue is with that command now i used the command with tenant id and it working but there is another the command unable to update the client_id under config template file. you know why ? i have updated my config temp file from 1.11 to 1.12 due to latest script the updated file has the last part about entra id which is different from the latest config template file.

after seen this i have copied those entra application id line and update those into my config templete which helped me out and ran the command successfully.
