Hi Ludwig,

We use AX 2012 R3 CU11, and in fact the error message is the same "A currency to convert from is required to retrieve exchange rate information.", error throw from class method ExchangeRateHelper.handleError(), line 23.

Our case as after create inter company payment journal from AP and open journal lines window in another company from AR, the error message pop up.

Hello Steve93,

I have not found a note / hotfix on LCS for CU11. In previous versions there were some issues but in CU11 things should be fixed.

If you still get the error and if you can replicate it in your demo/test environment then I would suggest asking a developer to debug this issue.

Alternatively, you can open a support case with MS.
