Paid amount and Remaining balance on customer invoice

Hello experts

My client asked us to modify their invoice to show total paid amount and remaining balances.

following is the modified design of the new report .

I know the path of the remaining balance of the customer, but I cannot find where I can get remaining balance & paid amount of a certain invoice.

Please help me with find the AOT path of the remaining balances & paid amount  of  invoices.

    Hi Tina,

    This is an odd requirement if it is not related to a pre-payment. An invoice is a static document which should not include variable information is something was paid or not or how much.

    A pre-payment amount can be mentioned, but regardless if is was actually paid or not.

    sorry that I didn't mention one thing.

    If my client has some customers pay in installment, and after made partial payments on their invoices, our client wants to issue an update invoice that shows remaining balances.

    Hi Tina,

    You can use the Customer account statement for this purpose. It is usually not required to change/update/modify an issued invoice. At least not in the countries I have implemented Dynamics AX.
