Dear Experts,

Is this the right way to change the status of the material using batch disposition code please help. If it not the right way then how to check or update the material status, we have the below step to do so. Further, check the images step by step thanks

step 1: select the desired PO in Po list(Procurement and sourcing module) and click on Quality Order on the left navigation pane

step 2: New window is opened of quality order, right-click on view detail of batch number(if you don't have batch number click on inventory menu button and click on dimensions display to show it on the grid

step 3: New batch window is opened on the batches window on right top click on menu button and click"Reset batch disposition code"

step 4: Restriction on the inventory batch will be open and select on your desired "Batch disposition code"1.bmp2.bmp3.bmp4.bmp

    Hi Shabir,

Not understanding what's the link between quality order and the purchase order number (when you say select PO and click on quality order), the system doesn't do the filtering by default if you are opening the form from left pane.

Anyway, the simplest would be - provided you know for which batch the disposition code needs to be changed. Directly go to batches form and change it there. See standard documentation per link below:

    Thanks,

    Hello Shabir,

What is it exactly that you want to do? (a) manually stop processing a PO line, (b) stop it automatically with the help of a quality order from further processing or (c) something else.

    Can you clarify?

    Many thanks and best regards

    Ludwig

    Hi Shabir,

You don't seem to have security privilege to see the button, but you might find that this button takes you directly to the quality orders that you want (so that you don't have to filter on Batch number to find the right one).

That said, it's quite common to use the Quality Order itself to set the Batch disposition automatically. It's possible to set a different Batch disposition, depending on whether the results of the tests that you perform are good or bad.
