One time vendor set up & prospective vendor

Trying to configure the system to allow the creation for new vendors to enable the request for quotation functionality, without the need to fully set up the vendor's information, considering that after the bidding process these newly created vendors won't become regular vendors.
 
Not sure if the prospective vendors functionality can also be an option for this.

    Hi R,

    The RfQ process needs distinct vendor accounts to be able to send the RfQs and register the replies. The prospective vendors are not supported for this process. I do agree with you that prospective vendors would be helpful here, like sales quotations can be sent to customer or prospects.
