Transfer items from Unspecified location to Main Warehouse

I am new to Dynamics BC and set up my first warehouse.
I set up locations for the warehouse with existing items and all my items were in an unspecified location.

My warehouse is set up with option "Directed Put-away and Pick" and i need,as I understand, to transfer items between locations through a transfer order but i can’t choose an unspecified location there.

How do I transfer items from an unspecified location to the main warehouse?

    Hi,

    because you have inventory on empty location what I will consider is the following:

    1. create a new temporary location without bins, zones, directed put-away and pick

    1.1. setup inventory posting setup

    2. with item reclassification journal reclassify all inventory to this new location from step 1

    3. create transfer order to transfer inventory which was reclassified in step 2 from the temporary location to your main warehouse

    4. post shipment from a temporary location from the transfer order.

    5. post warehouse receipt to some zones, bins to your main warehouse

    6. register put-away
