I have this software deployable package deployed to UAT and tested. How can I deploy to PROD? Is it have to publish or something? Cause I don't see it in my list when I want to update my PROD.
You have to mark it as Release candidate after it's been deployed to UAT and you have verified it there.
I mean like how to deploy the software package from asset library to PROD?
Once it's deployed to UAT and marked as release candidate, it can be deployed to prod.
But please note that with self-service environments you're actually promoting the whole UAT application to prod, not just a deployable package. So you're not deploying from asset library to prod, you're deploying UAT to Prod.
The question: is it because it's not published? How to publish?
How can I change from "Draft" to "Published"?
Hi Mark,
not sure if you can do it. The MS updates are "Published", your own uploaded deployable packages are "Draft".
This has no impact to the PROD deployment.
Please go to the Prod environment page in LCS, select Maintain - Update environment. The dialog that opens will contain everything you need.
Please advice.
