Error "Failed to serialize a configuration" when attempting to Import Personalization's from XML file

Hello:

I am receiving the error above (full error in screen shot below)

Our test environment was refreshed and I was attempting to load in personalizations from the XML file I exported prior to the refresh.

Can you tell me what the error below means?

Is the file trashed?  I also tried to load an older personalization file, received same error

    Hi Paul,

    The file name is named securitydatabasecustomizations. Is this a personalization file or do you need to import this file on the Security configuration form?
