Microsoft Edge and CRM

Hi there,

I have a user when that when viewing CRM in Edge, associated views will sometimes not display any of the associated records.  If the user views the same record in a different browser, the associated view works as expected.  I haven't been able to recreate the issue using Edge, but was curious if anyone else has encountered this.

Additional information:

1. In Dev Tools, no errors are shown in the console.

2. This has happened with custom and out of the box entities.

3. Going to a different record and back has no effect.  If the user, closes Edge and goes back that appears to work most of the time.

4. The user clears their cache on exit.

5. We have a lot of JavaScript customization, so I'm not sure if that is blocking something or if it's an Edge quirk/bug.

    Hi,

Edge supports only certain CRM versions, So you need to check which version is used by you. You can get a clue from this article -

Also remove your custom js and check custom entities are working in Edge or not. If it works without custom JavaScript then use supported js code.

Removed custom javascript, but didn't resolve issue.

We are on premise, but it's 8.2 which should support Edge.

I'm having the same issue also on prem using latest version of CRM and latest version of Edge.

    Same thing works in Chrome.

Also same CRM version works fine on another Windows 10 that is not as upto date as mine, it's using an older version of Edge.

    Hi ,

This is as per my information and knowledge in crm experience that we need to ask users to use IE browser. However this is suggested by Microsoft as well to use IE can help for compatibility of CRM.

Its not like of customization issue at all.
