    Hi Mahesh,

Did you use a multi line field like an address or notes? In that case you have this behavior. Those fields are not recommended to have in a grid. If the field with the multi line should be part of the grid, you can or change the field type (EDT) or create an edit or display method using an EDT of e.g. NotesLine and place this in the grid

In continuation of what Andre suggested you can also try setting the Height = 1 property of the field in the grid. It will start showing scroll bar for the fields for which you have set multiline property to YES.

Faisal I checked the all the fields present in the Grid of the List Page no field is having  the  multiline property set to Yes.

Okay I will try what Andrew has said.

Next how to get the scroll bar in DetailsFormMaster Form . I have some 30 fields in a group in this form. Few fields are not getting displayed and there is no scroll bar in this form. How do I get it?

This form I am using for entering the data  in to fields which are displayed as textboxes in the group in this form.

Did you try to set height = 1? Does it work for you to make it what you wanted.

Grids show this behavior when a field is type of 'Memo', and in that case you need to set the appropiate height  manually. (Did you check also the display - edit methods for memo or multiline property?)

Adjust the height property for any field in your grid as per your requirement

Check out the fields on dataset you are linking to grid make sure each field is derived from proper EDT having number of characters not more than 60.

This issue also when you bind any edit or display method to Grid having return type as "str".

Thanks Faisal Fareed, By setting height of all the fields in the grid to 1 has worked. Thanks to all for your replies.

Hi, I have the same problem but I don't know how to access the height property. Where is it located? I don't have the access to design. Can any body advise me?

Some of your field's EDT has more than 120 character it seems. it doesn't matter. Go to the List Page Grid, find which field has large string size. on the string grid, set height in property according to your needs. :)
