After having created a custom Business Process Flow in my custom solution I recognized a custom entity with the same name of my new Business Process Flow was created in Default Solution automatically.

Do I have to manually add this entity into my custom solution for beeing able to tranfer the solution into another CRM instance?

    Hi Moko,

this is a new feature in the Fall 2016 Release, and it's related to the concurrent business processes:

My guess is you do have to include those BPF entities into the solution since they do get included as "required components" when I simply add an entity that has process flows to a new solution.

    Hi Alex,

the community seems to confirm that you should add these entities to you custom solution file when transporting it to another system.

I'm asking myself, why Microsoft released it that way. Usually when you create a new BPF from within your custom solution, these automatically created entities should get added into your custom solution automatically, too.

As this is generally the behaviour with other cutomizations like fields you edited via a form from within your custom solution.

By the way: The new BPF entities are User owned. This allows to have separate Security Roles enabled for specific Business Process Flows which is a great feature.

    Hi ashlega and moko33
I would like to ask you if we need to "Add All Assets" during adding this missing entity (related to our custom Business process flow) in our custom Solution.  - OR - We should add only the Meta data of this entity? Thank you in advance!
    Best!

    Hi Tatyana,

pretty sure you need to add all assets at least initially (since it's going to be a new entity for the target environment). For the updates, you probably don't even need to include that entity.
