How can i set up a different site and warehouse in-between now ?

Scenario - I have a company in AX2012 with one site and warehouse, now we have acquired a new company so which i need to setup as a new site and warehouse.
My items are centralized now, and i store all my financial dimensions on to item level. Here now i am unable to understand how do i map this to a new site and warehouse.
can anyone suggest on to how i need to think about this.
