This problem that seems to be related to “short pick” during raw material picking. I’ve noticed some items are getting hung up on user ID’s, each of which are directly related to pick works with canceled lines. I’ve tried to clean them up (I just want to remove these from inventory at this point), but I receive error messages.
Here are the error messages that I mentioned. If attempting to Free Move the item using the handheld, it says there are open work lines. When attempting to perform an inventory adjustment journal directly in AX, it says movement cannot be done on a user location. It appears that the work has been canceled or completed, but still does not allow me to do anything with these LP's. I'd like to know what caused this problem so it can be prevented in the future, and if possible have these License Plates removed from our inventory.
I checked the Warehouse management parameter Location profile and it is set to USER and the Location Type is different should be this parameters set as USER both? thank you
