    Hi,

If the current user is not a System Administrator then you might get this error. Try with System Administrator Account.

If you are using System Administrator account than, can you tell us is on-premise CRM or Online?

    Hi

    Are you a Deployment Administrator?

Are you able to change it to Sandbox?

    Try deleting after that.

Yes, make sure you are a deployment admin in CRM(as strange as it sounds, you just have to be a deployment admin.. or you'll see this error). Don't have to change it to SandBox, I think..

RE: Delete Plugin with plugin registration tool

    Hi,

There is a security restriction that enables only privileged users to register plug-ins. For plug-ins that are not registered in isolation, the system user account under which the plug-in is being registered must exist in the Deployment Administrators group of Deployment Manager. Only the System Administrator user account or any user account included in the Deployment Administrators group can run Deployment Manager.
