Quick preview of attachments in time line

Hello,

According to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2020wave2/service/dynamics365-customer-service/intuitive-email-file-attachment-experience-agents

"In this release, we are bringing the following file attachment capabilities to the agent experience:

  • Inline file attachment experience with the ability to manage multiple files.
  • Quick preview for files.
  • Ability to select and manage multiple attached files."

If I understood this correctly, when clicking on attachment file there should be some preview but in my case it doesn't work. After clicking in attachment it just downloading a file. I've tried .pdf .xlsx and .jpg neither of them seems to be working

    Thank you now I get it and it is working in that way. Unfortunately at the moment it doesn't preview .xlsx files.

    Hi lukasz,

    As title of the link stated, this feature only works for attachments of email, it will pop up a preview dialog after clicking the attachment record of subgrid.

    If we want to preview attachments in timeline, currently the solution is still by using custom PCF control.
