Hi ,
I have a task that is regarding documentation in which I need to export the data into word document using X++ code .Is there a way in which I can do this, any sample code or reference will work . Or do I need to first enter data into XML file and then to word , in that case please guide me on how I can insert XML data to word ?
Look at Creating word documents from X++, for instance.
Thanks Martin for quick reply .
Can we add a table( like an excel table ) in the word doc for entering data ?
Yes, Word documents support tables, although they're not comparable to Excel. If you want Excel-like functionality, the best way is using Excel itself. Note that you can use DIXF to export AX data to Excel.
It's also possible to embed an Excel sheet inside a Word document, but I've never tried it from code.
