HI All,

i want to allow the sales guys to schedule their customer deliveries- Most of our sales orders lines are delivered one time. I want a way where the sales people can schedule their sales order as a whole not as sales lines.

Can someone help in that

Hi Panwar,

thank you for your reply. let me explain this little bit more

we have sales orders from 3 branches (showroom)

all the sales orders are delivered as a whole sales order - all the items in a sales order should be delivered one time in one delivery truck

Now whatever process we follow, either in lines or in the header view, the sales person must know about the available delivery dates. He should be able to access the delivery scheduled where he/she can see the available dates and accordingly he/she can put his delivery in the available dates

and then, the warehouse must see the delivery schedule and act accordingly. Currently i dont even know about the warehouse, from where he can access this delivery schedule..

Please explain if you can

Hi Muhammed,

Assuming to schedule the deliveries, sales people are using Delivery date field on lines currently. Do know that all the fields are also available on sales order header as well, if sales person update them on header, they will be prompted to find out "do you want to apply the same changes on all order lines as well". if yes, all lines will be updated.

Now if to control whether fields should be updated, not updated or show them prompt is controlled by setup in AR parameters > updates tab > updated order lines.
