Add multiple security roles at once

Hello Sales community,

when creating a new user in Sales I just follow the MS Docs descritpion for adding security roles and I just click them togehter one by one in the security role list.

Is there a way to add multiple security roles at once, with some kind of template?

For example a template for consultants which adds automatically (security role A, security B, security role E, etc).?

Hi,

You can select Multiple Users at the same time while assigning the role to user.

Login to admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ -> Select Enviornments->Select Users -> Select multiple roles and click on Save.

You can add multiple users and assign multiple security roles from one single csv file using powershell scripts.

Hi Erik,

It can be done with the User Roles Manager tool in XrmToolBox.

Here are the steps.

Download XrmToolBox and open it.

Connect to your organization. Once connected, search for User Roles Manager tool, and then click on it.

Click on Load Roles, Users and Teams.

The list on the left is for Security Roles and the list on the right is for Users. You can select multiple roles and assign them to the selected users.

Once I selected the combination of security roles and users, I clicked on Actions button followed by Add selected roles to selected users or teams.

Hello Erik,

To Create a new user, you can add users to your organization one at a time or add multiple users at the same time by using the Add Users wizard.
