Purchase Requistion error

i create a purchase quote from purchase requistion,some times it createss them then other times i get it error:
"The following fields must have the same type:

Field: Shortcut Dimension 1 Code <-- Acquired
Table: Posted Purchase Req. Line <-- Purchase Requisition Line
Type: Text <-- Decimal"
and yes shortcut dimension is text[30] in both tables but still i have that error someone help please

Hi

The error message tells me that we are talking about a custom solution, it seems that there is a problem when a document is registered and transferred to a historical table.

Solved: Error: The following fields must be of the same type

You can see the error details and tell the technician or partner who developed the solution.

I suggest you debug it, it seems to be a problem caused by customization.

From the error message, the system is trying to assign the value of Decimal to Text.

the problem was that i was using transferfields() to copy fields so i decided to just do it manually and the error was resolved.
