Hi all,
Our client uses some 3rd party application where they need to keep updated prices of items. They want to schedule an export batch job through data management and want the result to be exported in a CSV file in a shared folder. The 3rd party application then picks that CSV file from that shared folder and updates the price in their system. Their job runs quite frequently.
From D365 FinOps end our target is to save that file to that shared folder. I need help from the community to know what are possible ways to acheive this requirement. I shall be very thankful for any help. Thank you!
D365FO itself is a SaaS service in Internet, and it has no way of seeing any local folders in company networks. But you can use integration services such as Logic Apps, Biztalk or even Microsoft's Recurring Integrations Scheduler sample app to exchange files between your local folders and the cloud service. You should find plenty of documentation, blogs and discussions of how to use those solutions with D365FO if you search the web.
Thanks very much Nikolaos, Microsoft's Recurring Integrations Scheduler is exactly what I was looking for. Let me configure and see if it runs smoothly.
