Best way to access 2009 AX (not using client)

Hi all, my company has implemented AX 2009 and we have an off site location that needs to access AX but was advised to not use the client due to the structure of the network causing the client to be too slow.

I know that we can use Remote Desktop to remote to our Terminal Server and then start AX but am looking for a more streamlined way for end users to access AX.

Our implementation team initially used Remote App Manager on our Terminal Server to roll out shortcuts for end users but these are very inconsistent and many times will act like the AX program started but all you get is a black screen. Any suggestions?

I had experience with a company whom uses 2X (http://www.2x.com/). In their case it worked well. Not sure about how much it costs but it's on the reasonable side I heard.

You can go to their website and download a trial to try it out.

Interesting thanks. The Remote App that we are using would be fine but it has been inconsistent, many times it would show that AX was running but all the end user would get is a black window.

I found a Microsoft kb article that has a hotfix that appears to be for the issue that we are having so I am going to try it to see if it helps - support.microsoft.com/.../981156
