Invoice account: ##### A currency to convert from is required to retrieve exchange rate information.

Error while posting Free Text Invoice.

Customer master is setup using CAD.

The company's accounting currency is CAD and reporting currency is USD.

Ledger setup has been completed. I am able to post regular ledger journal with these currencies.

We are on D365 FO 10.0.11 with quality updates.

I have the same question (0)

what are you trying to process? Free text invoice? Prepayment on SO?

Hi Nithin Patil,

Has there been a currency selection in the invoice header for which no exchange rate exists for the date you want to post the invoice?

Free Text Invoice. There is prepayment but I am not applying against this invoice.

Thank you Ludwig. I have used USD and exchange rate has been setup. I can see the exchange rate populated on header.

Hello Nithin Patil,

Kindly check the following if this solve the issue.

--- Check the date ranges in currency exchange rate form if the exchange rate is available between these 2 currencies within same date ranges when the free text is created.

--- Check if you can create the 1st exchange rate line by putting a blank date in this currency pair and just mention only the exchange rate. After that proceed with the free text and see if you are able to post it.

Thank you Saurav. I have gone through these but none of them help me.

Seems like issue is because of setup of Foreign Trade ( but I can't pin point yet. As soon as I turned on Foreign Trade it starts giving me issue.
